It´s a huge day for events today since we start the day with FaMESHed anniversary edition where a bunch of designers who were a part of event, come back and join force for this amazing edition, with some of the best stores in the grid. And i took extra special care with my pinning this month to give you a eyeful of this amazing event. Also opening today are The Box on it´s second edition and our usual Woeful Wednesday. Well anyways i do like to think i am somehow improving, don´t we all? Isin´t that the reason we go out everyday and work harder, giving a little bit more of ourselves each single day?
But that is not what this blog post is about, not even i know very well what it is about to be honest, i just had these pics planned in ages, and never got around to do them, mostly due to time limitations, or lack of some components for it.
And over last week i was incredibly nostalgic about one event i will miss terribly this year: Crazy Hair Hunt, probably the only hunt i do from start to end, and that apparently won´t have an edition this year, but anyways, i managed to satisfy my need for quirky and different hair with a trip to EMO-tions, and found this model that seemed perfect for this idea i´ve had for a few months, i already had the pose, which are sometimes for me the basic foundation of any picture, i already had the flowers and the dress, and could finally do my portrait of Ophelia, a young noblewoman driven into madness by the violence of the men around her, mumbling truths in her madness.
I didn´t want to portray her as a young virginal girl as often she´s seem, but has a rightful noblewoman strong and faithful until her world came tumbling down around her, and a lot more relatable to modern women who juggle so much on their daily live.
So here she is a reminder that things can end, and lives can change and tragedy could hit us all at any given time, leaving us weak and ready to give up.
And again those who know me know this is a far from a melancholia filled post, but again my usually practical side that says don´t take things for granted, and learn from stories, isin´t that what cautionary tales are there for?

You might remember Gothmas by Gaslight from last year but in the hunt format, this year it´s back but with something we all love a lot more, which is gatchas, i enjoy Christmas a lot but mostly in RL to be honest in SL around this time of year i tend to stay away from the holiday items, and that´s why i adore Gothmas by Gaslight, and the darker twist on the traditional things we get to see all over around this season.
I also like Gothy stuff, although i have no idea what i´m doing with it most of the time really, do enjoy it even tho i´m certainly sure, i don´t have a goth bone in me, as i see it a wonderful way to experiment with looks and get away from my comfort zone completely, and i´m lucky that my good friend Bronxie who is the most GAF (goth as f***) person i know let´s me tag along all goth events she´s involved without calling me out on my lack of gothyness .
So I hope you´re all ready for an amazing event that starts today and lasts until the 15th of January, and a cute darker twist on this holiday season. Just wait till you see my Gothmas tree guys.

Just a quick blog post to remind everyone about the coldlogic sale going on that will last until the 29th, i ran there quickly because i had been dying to get this Hathaway dress when it came out, but always either forgot or didn´t have a chance to drop in, which i did today, and i also ran by over to Truth because you know a dress like this deserves some new hair.
It was also perfect for this gorgeous jewelry set by Glow available at Vintage Fair, that i wanted to blog for weeks but never got around to and i needed badly to take more pictures in the new essences sink available at this months Zodiac, honestly don´t you love those lips? I rarely wear golden, i also rarely play so much with shadows, but this scenery box from Winx just made the outfit come together, i also rarely do more fashion looking shots, because to be honest i´m not very good at them, but it seemed natural, and i believe in doing different things and practicing your weak spots, and mostly learning.
So today i burn, in tones of Golden and red, thanks to my visit to My Attic, and a touch from all the other ongoing events that populate SL bringing us plenty of goodies, and i will focus a bit more on My Attic today, as a blogger having the right background for pictures is sometimes everything and i love these little boxes from Winx, that seemed to fit the sort of 70´s ish look i was aiming at and fit with the event theme, which is Shaken not Sitrred if i´m not mistaken.
I do hope i got the Bond look right, thanks to the also from My Attic new hair from Ploom and Miseria poses i used here, a new store for me but looking promising, so far so hopefully i will have some new stuff from them to show you guys.

I mentioned at the start fo the month a new event L’accessoires, that would start soon it opened yesterday at midnite and this morning i had the time to visit it and do some shopping, just briefly because i was out the door, and i had no idea how much time i would have, but i did a quick picture to show two of my acquisitions there, mixed in with som COLLABOR88 goodies.
We all know how accessories are important, if you accessorize well sometimes all you need is a simple dress, a scarf, a necklace a pair of earings, a belt or even a hat can make a whole outfit, so here i´m wearing a simple and yet classic jacket by fri.day, an almost invisible in the pic simple white blouse, with two also simple but yet detailed pieces.
